ZedaSoft® Receives Contract to Upgrade the USAF Test Pilot School's Avionics Familiarization Simulator with a Remote Piloted Vehicle Mission Console

(Fort Worth, Texas – November 14, 2014) ZedaSoft® a simulation and visualization software company announces contract FA9302-14-M-L029 to provide a Remote Piloted Vehicle (RPA) mission console to the USAF Test Pilot School (TPS) Avionics Familiarization Simulator located at Edwards AFB.

The simulation system is based on ZedaSoft's patented Container Based Architecture (CBA®), which enables TPS student pilots to observe the avionics capabilities of different generations of aircraft avionics and systems now adding a RPA system.

The upgrade will connect the existing Reconfigurable Desktop System which will act as the pilot station to a new mission console providing the sensor operator with modern Infrared (IR) sensor views and controls such as shown to the right.

The simulation will use an additional MetaVR™ Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG™) channel to simulate IR sensor and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems controlled through a modern RPA avionics interface developed by ZedaSoft.
