Advanced Rotorcraft

The FAA Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) contracted ZedaSoft to upgrade their Bell 206 rotorcraft simulator. The upgrade includes the integration of a flight model for a Bell 407GXi which will be supplied by Bihrle Applied Research and Garmin 407GXI style instrument panel hardware from Precision Flight Controls.

The Garmin G1000H software is integrated into the simulator along with the existing GTN-750 capability to provide multiple cockpit research configurations. The common Experimenter Operator Station (EOS) developed for other CAMI flight deck simulators is integrated to provide a common control and data collection interface.
